27 April 2019 – Haydn, Purcell and Gabrieli

Our next concert will take place on Saturday 27 April 2019 in the Great Hall at UCS.  The programme includes Nelson Mass by Haydn, Funeral music for Queen Mary by Purcell and In Ecclesiis by Gabrieli.   Tickets are available online via Ticketsource (with a booking fee) or at rehearsals.

This BBC magazine article explores what happens to us when we sing and explores how singing, particularly communally, can benefit our mental health.  It explains how singing can be a form of communication which we can access even when we feel shy or insecure.
