Making Music is the UK’s number one organisation for leisure-time music, with a membership of over 3,500 groups representing around 190,000 music makers across the UK.

The Hampstead Chorus is a member of Making Music and we benefit greatly from their advice (for instance on licensing and gift aid) and their insurance cover for groups like ours.

One of their goals is to increase participation in live music making.  They are currently conducting a survey of members of their affiliate organisations to understand better what puts people off joining choirs and orchestras.  The survey takes about 5 minutes to complete.  It would be great if some members of the Hampstead Chorus felt able to complete the survey which can be found here.
