Our last rehearsal of Carmina Burana is on Wednesday 25th November.  On Wednesday 2 December we will be having our online “concert” – a sing through of the whole piece accompanied by a recording.  Those who have signed up for the term are very welcome to join us, even if you have missed rehearsals.

The recent vaccine news holds out hope that we will be able to get together in person at some stage next year, though this is unlikely to be in the first quarter.  We are currently planning our activities for the spring term, which will almost certainly be online.  Watch this site for more information.

The Hampstead Chorus is a friendly, un-auditioned choir, based in North West London.

We offer communal music-making for all who are interested in choral singing and welcome

  • people who can sing in tune but may have little or no experience of singing in a choir
  • those who have sung in the past and would like to resume
  • experienced singers.

Our Musical Director is Simon Walton, a highly accomplished and inspirational singer and musician. He is assisted by Heather Tomala, a talented pianist and répétiteur.

The Chorus started life as the UCS Centenary Choir.  We continue to be closely associated with University College School where rehearsals and concerts take place. Members come both from within the UCS community and the wider Northwest London area.

This website provides information for singers, potential singers, audience and supporters.  Information on each term and each concert can be found on our blog posts.
